Dr. Samuel C. Clemmons MD :: President and CEO

After two years of attendance at the United States Naval Academy, Clemmons returned home due to the untimely death of his father and role model, Dr. Lowell Clemmons. He then completed his undergraduate degree from Auburn University before receiving his medical degree from the University of South Alabama. He practiced primary care medicine for over 10 years in a rural setting. He has served as Emergency Department Medical Director, Chief of Staff, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Co owner of a successful medical clinic. As founder of Elite Emergency he has continued to serve as a valuable resource and liaison between each facility and provider.
Brenda J. Nesmith :: RHIT/CFO

After raising her family, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a RHIT (registered health information technician) degree. Recognized with the highest honor for a new graduate, she was presented the New Frontier award at the national AHIMA convention. She was also recognized by the state of Alabama in the field of health information as the Adcock winner. For two years she worked at Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN before joining Elite Emergency.
Shannon N. Clemmons :: Vice President

Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Austin Peay State University, she was awarded the most outstanding graduate in the field of Corporate Communications. After graduating she worked to develop CaringParents.com, a parenting resource website. While traveling extensively with her own production company, she was able to experience rural America through nursing homes, churches, fairs and festivals. She strives to develop and maintain positive and more effective communications between Elite, the providers and the hospitals in order to better serve each facility.
Chad Nesmith :: Director of Operations

After graduating from the University of North Alabama with a BS in Psychology and a Minor in Sociology, he completed two Masters Degrees and a Doctorate from the University of Alabama. He completed his degrees in Counselor Education and Community Counseling while each year losing about 10% of his vision to Retinitis Pigmentosa. He married Patricia in 1995. With the two working together, they built a thriving mental health practice in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They have sold their practice of 13 years to join EES.
Ben Dearman :: Assistant CFO

With a double major in Finance/Economics and Management, he graduated in 2009 from Lipscomb University where he served as President of the Delta Kappa chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi. Working with Southern Games for six years, he was able to experience first hand the demands of a small business. Learning the foundations of the financial system during an internship with Northwestern Mutual, he discovered his love for numbers and finance. A self-starter and a leader, he is actively involved in all aspects of Elite’s daily financial operations from payroll to budgets.
Rachel Uselton :: Credentialing Coordinator

Working hard and learning come naturally for Uselton, who spent four years employed with UPS. While serving as the store manager, she acquired hands-on experience and developed skills that would lead to her current position with Elite. Whether scheduling or credentialing, she effectively communicates, organizes and executes to get the job done. Dedicated and focused she is an integral part of Elite’s success.
Elisha Farless :: Office Assistant

With over eleven years of experience as an office manager, she knows what it takes to keep things operating effectively. After exploring other career options, the busy mother of three, joined the Elite staff to utilize her management background. Organized, energetic, and efficient, she uses her skills to keep everyone and everything on course each day.
